Privacy Policy

This policy explains how EchVid handles information when operating the EchVid website, EchVid Studio and connected publishing integrations.

Effective date: 30 August 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to EchVid web properties, the EchVid Studio production service and integrations used to connect supported publishing platforms. EchVid Studio is currently operated as a private beta with invitation-only access.

2. Information we may process

Depending on the feature used, EchVid may process account identifiers, authentication and authorization records, project metadata, production assets supplied by the authorized operator, publishing metadata, platform connection status, delivery receipts, diagnostic logs and security events.

3. Connected platform data

When a supported social platform is connected, EchVid may receive and store the minimum authorization data required to perform approved actions on that account, such as access or refresh tokens, platform account identifiers, granted scopes and publishing receipts. Credentials are treated as confidential operational data and are not displayed publicly.

4. YouTube API Services

EchVid uses YouTube API Services when an authorized operator connects a YouTube account through Google OAuth and explicitly asks EchVid to upload or manage an approved video release. The integration may process the minimum YouTube account identifiers, OAuth authorization data, video metadata, upload status and API response information required for that workflow. EchVid does not request or store a user's Google password.

Use of the YouTube integration is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

5. YouTube data retention, refresh and deletion

YouTube API-sourced data is retained only as necessary to operate the requested integration and is refreshed or deleted within the periods required by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Data that must be refreshed is refreshed at least every 30 days, and API-sourced data that is no longer required is deleted within 30 days unless a YouTube policy expressly permits longer retention. EchVid-owned production files, editorial metadata and release receipts created independently by EchVid are not treated as YouTube API data merely because a release is later uploaded to YouTube.

When a YouTube connection is disconnected or authorization is revoked, EchVid stops using that authorization and removes locally retained YouTube OAuth credentials that are no longer required. An operator can also revoke Google's authorization at Google Account permissions. A deletion request may be sent to support@echvid.com.

6. How information is used

Information is used to operate production workflows, create and manage release records, prepare platform-specific metadata, deliver content to connected accounts, diagnose failures, protect the service, maintain audit records and improve reliability. Connected-platform data is not used for unrelated advertising profiles or sold to third parties.

7. AI-assisted production

EchVid may use generative or AI-assisted systems as part of media production. The service is designed to retain human editorial control and to support platform-specific disclosure of AI-generated or AI-assisted content where required.

8. Sharing

EchVid does not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted to infrastructure and publishing providers only when required to operate a requested feature, such as hosting a site, retrieving licensed media or publishing an approved release to a connected social platform.

9. Data retention

Operational data that is not subject to a stricter platform-specific rule is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for production, security, troubleshooting, legal obligations and release-history purposes. Authentication credentials may be removed when a platform connection is revoked or the integration is disabled.

10. Security

EchVid uses access controls, encrypted HTTPS transport, separated public and private application surfaces, restricted credential storage and explicit publishing authorization gates. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but the system is designed to minimize exposed production infrastructure.

11. Your choices and rights

Where applicable, users may request access, correction or deletion of personal information and may revoke connected-platform access through the relevant platform or EchVid integration controls. Additional rights may apply under local data-protection law, including the GDPR where applicable.

12. Third-party services

Connected platforms have their own privacy policies and terms. Use of YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram or any other connected service remains subject to that provider's rules.

13. Changes

This policy may be updated as EchVid moves from private beta toward broader creator access. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.

14. Contact

Privacy, access, revocation or deletion questions may be sent to support@echvid.com.
